Bid & buy art that supports our scholarship fund for survivors of gender-based violence; get tickets to our November 7 gala; and more!

Works featured in Bearing Witness, an exhibition and auction that benefits Center for Story & Witness.

The Bearing Witness online auction is live! Bid, buy & support our scholarship fund for survivors of gender-based violence.

How do we challenge and change a world in which gender-based violence and other social injustices devastate far too many persons across the globe? By bearing witness through art and story.

Bearing Witness - Center for Story & Witness's limited-time online art exhibition and auction - centers an extraordinary collective of galleried artists whose work is featured in permanent collections that include the Art Institute of Chicago, New York’s Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian, and Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art, among other institutions; alongside notable self taught artists doing visionary work outside the mainstream.

Curated for us by Art Works for Change’s Randy Jayne Rosenberg, the former chief curator of the permanent collection at the World Bank, with support from Tiphanie Spencer of Hana Pietri Gallery, Bearing Witness is more than an exhibition. It’s an invitation to us to see the social injustices we too often choose to ignore.

100% of proceeds will benefit Center for Story & Witness and its award-winning global testimonial writing program for survivors of gender-based violence and other human rights violations.

THE BEARING WITNESS ONLINE AUCTION IS LIVE THROUGH NOVEMBER 9.
