Justice for Migrant Women Board Members Ivana de Maria, Diana Ochoa, Monica Ramirez, and Anne K. Ream
| | Congratulations, Justice for Migrant Women, for another extraordinary Raizado Festival in Aspen. We loved being in community with you! | | | | | Created by one of our longest running partner organizations - Justice for Migrant Women, where Center for Story & Witness co-founder Anne K. Ream serves as Board President - the annual Raizado Festival in Aspen, Colorado brings together artists, influencers, activists and national and local eaders with inspired ideas, big hearts and a deep desire to challenge a world that too often disappears Latina and Latino narratives. At this year’s festival Anne was a featured speaker, serving as a program emcee alongside the creator of Raizado, Justice for Migrant Women Founder Monica Ramirez. | | | | | | | | | Tony Wittrock, Center for Story & Witness Curator & Community Liason, Music Programming | | | | | Get to know our Center for Story & Witness team: Meet Tony Wittrock. | | | | | |
A multi-instrumentalist whose passion for music extends beyond boundaries and genres, Tony Wittrock believes that music is one of the most primal, powerful tools available to those fighting for justice. Tony developed his love for American music at a young age, by listening to the bands that defined the British Invasion. It was the Stones and the Beatles who first brought to his attention the blues greats making music closer to home, introducing Tony to Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Junior Wells and other legends.
